MR.RAFIK SALEMOHAMMED JAFRANI is the third generation from Jafrani family in the business of trading of Steel required for Building Construction. “HAMY” stands for Haji Ali Mohammed Yakub, grandfather of Mr. Rafik, who started Steel business in 1950 in Pune as a proprietor of Haji Ali Mohammed Yakub & Sons. Mr. Rafik joined the family business in 1978 at the age of 16 and after a through experience in all business areas ventured in construction business at the age of 23 in 1985 as a partner of M/s Mass Construction Company along with Mr. Juzar Rampurwala. Thus, as Promoters & Builders, the Partners of the Firm have completed more than 800000 Sq Ft approximately of construction area in last 32 years. The Partners have necessary technical knowledge and experience to carry out the construction projects. In addition to construction business, Mr. Rafik has also continued the family business of Steel Merchants through the proprietary concern – M/s Hamy Steel Yard. This firm has an annual average turnover of around Four Crore. Today the Hamy group stands as a most reputed Promoter & Builder in South Pune, particularly in Dhankawadi, Katraj, Ambegaon & Kondhwa area. The Firm enjoys the Goodwill of being successful businessmen having a strong support from suppliers, contractors as well as customers and business community at large.
