Rabindra Sarovar Lake is an artificial lake in Southern part of Kolkata, West Bengal. This lake is also Dhakuria Lake, refers to the Dhakuria locality surrounding the lake. It is covered by Kolkata Suburban Railway tracks in the South, Southern Avenue in the North, Rashbehari Avenue (Russa Road) in the West and Dhakuria in the East. The Northern part of lake has Rabindra Sarobar Stadium with a seating capacity of approximately 26000. The numerous swimming as well as rowing clubs are situated within the Rabindra Sarovar complex.
